What we focus on
Specifics of Lorcana grading
Lorcana is printed in several languages including English and German – we grade both. Because many cards feature borderless full-art foils with bold colours, we check the surface especially carefully: tiny scratches and clouding stand out more than on cards with a white border.
Centering is also important: on Enchanted cards with continuous artwork, a slight offset is often visible to the naked eye and noticeably affects the overall grade. Our rating makes exactly that transparent – so buyers and sellers share the same objective basis.

Even cut – especially visible on full-art designs.
Corners
Corner sharpness, whitening, dents.
Edges
Edge wear and colour chipping – common on dark borders.
Surface
Scratches, print lines and clouding – decisive on foils.
